5th Platinum Jubilee Party & Celebrations for Saturday 9th July 2022
Our group is 75 years old this year. We had a special camp to mark our Queen’s Jubilee too at the Biblins. But, we want to have more style and fun and on the Saturday 9th July 2022., we want to celebrate more. We plan to do it in two halves!
First Half….
In the morning we want to have a big photo to capture all of us in our splendid uniform and naturally eat cake! This will be a free event for all to take part.
The timings for this will be:
10am – We would like as many of our youth members to attend for a Group photo in full uniform.
11am – Jubilee Cake – have a special cutting with 75 candles!
Then we shall go home for lunch at 1130am, but returning in the late afternoon for our Jubilee Party.
For this event we will be sending out an OSM invite to this email to manage the young people attending.
Second Half ….
This will be a ticketed event as we have to cater for everyone. The group is funding part of the ticket price and we are are seeking a small contribution. The price of the ticket is £7.50 per person, which will include food, complimentary drink (age appropriate) to toast and a 5th Camp classic dessert! More importantly an evening of celebration.
4pm – Bouncy Castle Disco
5pm – Giant Sumo Wrestling matches, the tug of boats, go kart jousting, classic adult vs kids games
6pm – Hog or Plant Rolls and Buffet
7pm – Country Dance and Party till late
