Every session run at Scouts will have a risk assessment completed beforehand. This will be stored on OSM or Scouts RAM.
There are generic risk assessments for activities at the 5th and can be found below.
For all water activities, these are complemented by on-the-day risk assessments, which are logged prior to the session start. These are dynamic and ensure groups needs are met.
All leaders in charge of the activity and have the correct permit, have the final decision about who goes onto the water, what they can and cant paddle with and who
